2 former Story Lab projects at Visions du Réel
The Story Lab supported the documentary film projects by Sayaka Mizuno and Matias Carlier during their development. Now the time has come – the two films are being released on the big screen: we are delighted that ‘Colostrum’ and ‘Toute ma vie’ celebrated their world premiere at Visions du Réel in Nyon and will be shown as part of the national competition.
‘Colostrum’, documentary, 75’
‘Colostrum’ by Sayaka Mizuno follows Pascal, who runs a family farm high up in the Swiss Alps. When Solène, a city dweller, starts volunteering there, two paths cross. Conversations about equality and climate change unfold – as well as the relationship between humans, animals and nature. Find out more here.
‘Toute ma vie’, documentary, 69’
Matias Carlier’s ‘Toute ma vie’ takes a look at three years in the life of teenager Noah: since the age of six, he has navigated between his mother’s home, foster homes and problems with the law. He finds support and motivation on his bike when he races down the steep streets of Lausanne. A portrait of family conflicts, the search for oneself and growing up. Discover more.
