ASLI ÖZARSLAN AND NICOLE BORGEAT NEW MEMBERS OF THE STORY LAB JURY

We are delighted to welcome two new jury members in 2025.

The projects submitted to the Story Lab are judged by an international jury. We are delighted to announce that two new jurors will be joining us in 2025:

Asli Özarslan studied theater and media as well as philosophy and sociology. Following editorial work and international film workshops, he studied documentary film directing at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy. INSEL 36 (2014) and her diploma film DIL LEYLA (2016) won numerous awards. Her current debut film project ELLBOGEN (2024) screened at the 74th Berlinale in the Generation section and won the prize for best literary adaptation at the Frankfurt Book Fair, among others.

Nicole Borgeat is a director, screenwriter and dramaturge. After studying directing at INSAS (Brussels), she worked as an assistant producer and director. She wrote and directed the comedy DEMAIN J’ARRÊTE (2003), which won an award at the Locarno Festival and a nomination for the Swiss Film Prize. Nicole Borgeat also received awards for SAUVONS LES APPARENCES (2008) and BOOMERANG (2018). She recently realized and co-wrote the thriller series DÉLITS MINEURS, which has been bought by numerous countries.
