Let’s talk! At the Story Lab networking event in Locarno, we want to foster new connections. The next generation of filmmakers faces many hurdles, which is why nurturing exchange is all the more important if we are to move forward together. To this end, we have invited various figures from the film industry who bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. Our main goal: to get people talking and thereby create new networking opportunities.

6.30 pm – Welcome address by Stefano Knuchel (Head of the Locarno Filmmakers Academy) and Thomas Pittino (Head of Culture, Engagement Department, Migros Group)

The industry experts at a glance

The Migros Culture Percentage Story Lab is a partner of “BaseCamp” for the fifth time. Launched in 2019, this project offers young film-makers an opportunity to immerse themselves in the Locarno Film Festival for eleven days and make new contacts within the industry. This year’s edition of the programme, called “A Promise to Respect”, brings together 200 up-and-coming international talents.
