Double is the mentoring and coaching platform of the Migros Culture Percentage. This funding project brings experienced experts together with younger professional colleagues for a one-year exchange.

How does Double interdisciplinary projects work?

Mentees can apply with projects from the fields of theater, cabaret, dance, classical music, jazz, film, art, and literature. Priority will be given to projects that are designed to be interdisciplinary.

The mentors

Barbara Miller

  • Coaching offer: “I can actually offer support in everything: guidance during the conceptual phase, writing treatments, preparing for shoots, interview coaching, editing supervision, and much more. Essentially, I cover all stages and levels involved in documentary filmmaking. This allows me to adapt very well to the individual needs of mentees.”

Eugénie Rebetez

  • Coaching offer: As an outside eye or mentor, she works on specific aspects of other artists’ projects. In her role as an observer or collaborator, Eugénie Rebetez takes into account both the artistic content and the overall context of the creative process. She focuses on fostering a dialogue that helps to clarify and strengthen the work, making herself available to the project while maintaining her critical perspective.

Joshua Monten

  • Coaching offer: “I can advise participants on many of the components that go into making a dance production: concept development, dramaturgy, rehearsal management, feedback methodologies, fundraising, marketing, promotional strategy. I have particular experience with freelance dance productions for young audiences, outdoor performance and site-specific work. I am also able to advise on choreographing in the context of opera and theater productions, and collaborations with music ensembles.”
