Story

“Symphony des profondeurs” invites participants to become sperm whales and dive into an ocean vibrant with sound. By using their voice as sonar, they discover an invisible world illuminated by echolocation: they ‘see’ by hearing. This poetic, sensory experience reveals the fragile beauty of the deep, while also showing the shocking impact of human noise on marine life.

Development since support on stage I

Since our last submission, we’ve gone through an in-depth writing and research process, which has enabled the story to evolve significantly. As well as writing the script and the sparring sessions, the highlights of this period were the prototyping residencies, the Grand Nord XR workshop and the trip to Nice for the United Nations Ocean Conference.

Story

After a catastrophic train crash in the Gotthard Tunnel, six teenagers help each other escape the burning wreckage. They flee through an emergency exit into a hidden Alpine valley – breathtaking, strange and apparently determined to entrap them forever… Deeply rooted in its characters, WAKE UP is a tribute to the (super)human strength that can grow in an emerging community.

Development since support on stage I

Since Stage I, we have developed a storyline that gives both the series and the radio play a unique, independently coherent perspective. They mutually enrich each other with new information and secrets. A subjective narration style, emerging from the characters themselves, was developed during the work in the new Writers’ Room and is used in both formats.
