Story

After the fall of the Assad regime in Syria, a daughter accompanies her mother on a surreal journey back to Homs. The film follows three generations of Syrian women at a unique historical moment: the time when the old has ended and the new has not yet begun. A feature-length documentary-animation hybrid, the film explores what’s possible through laughter, mythology and dreams.
