Pitching Session at the 79th Locarno Film Festival
Bats, commodity trading, sisterhood, migration – the themes explored by the Story Lab participants span a whole universe. With courage and curiosity, they are experimenting with new narrative forms. The participants presented their projects to the industry during a pitching session as part of Locarno Pro. We hope that the visibility generated by the pitching session will open new doors for these stories, leading to exciting collaborations.
Pitch projects at a glance
The Migros Culture Percentage Story Lab is a partner of “BaseCamp” for the fourth time. Launched in 2019, this project offers young film-makers an opportunity to immerse themselves in the Locarno Film Festival for eleven days and make new contacts within the industry. This year’s edition of the programme, called “A Promise to Respect”, brings together 200 up-and-coming international talents.
