Britta Rindelaub

Britta grew up in Belgium and Switzerland. After studying Cultural Anthropology in Barcelona, she completed a Bachelor of Arts degree (photography, video and performance) at the Geneva University of Art and Design (HEAD) in 2001. She then rounded off her studies with a Master’s Degree in filmmaking at the same university.
In 2006, she joined Alva Film as a documentary filmmaker. From 2010 to 2015, she lectured in the HEAD Cinema Department, and since 2015 has been a producer at Alva Film. In 2020, she became Head of the Producers’ Programme at Focal.
Over the last six years, Britta Rindelaub has produced more than 20 films, developing and producing arthouse debuts from up-and-coming Swiss directors, as well as co-producing world cinema, with a focus on Eastern-European countries and branching out into Latin America. She produces and co-produces documentary films for the international market, particularly with France, and is currently working on two TV series with the Swiss station RTS.
