Story

A Polish seasonal labourer is working on a large farm in Switzerland during the harvest season to earn a living for her family. She had to leave her children behind at home. The days are endless and the strenuous work exacts a growing physical toll. When her son grows ever more distant, she cannot do anything about it from so far away.
